This position is to be the primary Parkwood resource for providing or coordinating the
delivery of services and advice to Parkwood clients on various legal, financial and
personal matters to enhance their overall well-being. more info...
Duties and Responsibilities
* Respond to daily questions from Parkwood clients and provide advice, counsel, guidance
and direction regarding various matters including, financial, insurance, personal real
estate, healthcare, household and child-related issues.
* Develop an out-reach program to consult with qualified specialists to identify ideas
and solutions that meet current and future client needs.
* Assist clients in dealing with lifestyle or daily activities either directly, or sometimes
indirectly via referral to outside resources. Such areas might include: medical care,
personal financial management, and various social counseling matters (e.g., ADHD,
alcohol/drug abuse, marriage/divorce, wellness, etc.).
* Serve as liaison with philanthropic resources to aid clients in the development and
expansion of their philanthropic roles.
* Organize and facilitate family meetings or gatherings, including action step follow-up
as appropriate.
* Educate all clients on wealth management issues and design educational opportunities
suited to an individual family's needs.
* Conduct sessions with clients to inform them on the resources and capabilities of Parkwood.
* Establish communication protocols for each appropriate functional area of Parkwood to
communicate with clients. Such protocols could include standard report formats; frequency
of communications; methods of communications (i.e., email, phone, regular mail); and types
of communications (e.g., general interest newsletters, monthly financial reports, etc.).
* Create and maintain a database of client contact information, office visits, frequency
of contacts, and correspondence, etc.
* Perform other individual assignments or special projects as directed.

and risk management issues to be able to work with our legal function.

Education and Experience
* Advanced Degree with high academic achievement.

working with experienced investment managers in a variety of investment fields. In

Mission and Objectives
* To provide management with timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis, forecasting,
and reporting.
* To develop a highly skilled and effective staff.
* To implement the policies and procedures of the Financial Department.
* To support the investment, tax, philanthropic, legal and estate planning functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist with financial analysis and tracking of a variety of business transactions including
financial, investment, legal and tax considerations.
* Provide leadership, supervision, and professional development for the accounting staff,
including planning and coordinating the accounting workflow.
* Review quarterly asset values, primarily held through limited partnership interests,
for all client portfolios.
* Monitor bank borrowing and ensuring compliance with loan covenants.
* Assist with forecasting and budgeting annual trust distributions, including ongoing
monitoring throughout the year.
* Review of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial entries and reports.
* Cash and liquidity management, including forecasting cash needs for multiple partnerships,
trusts, individuals and charitable entities.
* Document accounting policies and procedures.
* Assist with corporate, benefits, and personal lines insurance and risk management issues.
Work Experience and Background Required
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with high academic achievement.
* 10-15 years general accounting experience with progressive levels of responsibility.
* Supervisory experience required.
* Financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
* CPA required.
* Public Accounting Experience preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Crystal Reports and FRx Report Writer beneficial.
* Partnership/Investment accounting experiences beneficial.

The role of the Tax function is to provide high quality tax services to Parkwood and its clients.
The Senior Tax Analyst's main responsibility will be to review various federal and state tax
filings for partnerships, trusts, individuals and tax exempt entities. Responsibilities will also
include preparation of tax projections and review of tax work papers and journal entries. more info...
A successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Chief Financial Officer in the following areas:
* Review of various income and excise tax returns (partnership, trust, individual, foundation).
* Maintenance of tax and financial records.
* Tax research as required.
* Review of tax work papers and tax related journal entries.
* Preparation and review of tax projections.
* Assistance with tax planning projects.
Specific Work Experience and Background Desired
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
* CPA required.
* 6-10 years tax experience.
* Individual tax experience required.
* Partnership tax experience required.
* Proficiency in Excel and Windows Operating Systems.
