Prior to joining Parkwood, Ken was the CEO of Cleveland-based Crain Langner & Co. During his time at Crain Langner, the firm was transformed into an international consulting practice, with a niche in providing risk management due diligence for family office private equity investments. Ken’s experience as a college educator and serving large single family offices helped him develop strong client relationship and education skills that complement the client services provided by Parkwood.
Ken earned a BA in Communications from the University of Akron in 1977. He completed his post graduate studies at the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters, in Malvern PA and was awarded the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1987 and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1989. He also served at the University of Akron as an adjunct faculty member, teaching Risk Management and Insurance from 1992 to 1998.
Ken and his wife Peggy reside in Richfield, Ohio and have two grown children.
