Adam B. Langsam

Biography

Adam Langsam is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Parkwood LLC.

Prior to joining Parkwood, Adam was the CEO of William Harris Investors, a Chicago-based 4th generation family office. In addition to Adam’s work with Family Office’s he has extensive experience in the financial services industry broadly, managing equity derivative and financing businesses at both Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. Adam began his career at Lehman Brothers with roles in European Equity Research, Equity Derivatives and Program Trading.

Adam earned his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago, and is a graduate of the University of Delaware, earning a BA in both Economics and Psychology.

Adam serves on both the Parkwood and Mandel Foundation Boards.  He is also a board member of William Harris Investors Trust Company, the Children First Fund, the Cahn Fellows Program for Distinguished Principals and Intonation Music where he serves as the Board Treasurer. When not working at Parkwood or one of his philanthropic pursuits, Adam can be found spending time with his wife Louise and their three adult children, Emily, Hannah and Jeremy.  And his dog, Ollie.
