Steven D. Schindler

Chief Technology Officer

Biography

Steven D. Schindler is the Chief Technology Officer. Steve leads the Information Technology function directing IT services, systems, processes and solutions that efficiently and effectively support the organization’s growth. He develops the rolling three-year IT Strategic Plan, moderates the Systems Committee Meetings and oversees the testing of the business continuity/disaster recovery plan. Steve joined Parkwood in 2003 as Manager of Information Systems.

Prior to joining Parkwood, Steve was the Customer Integration Engineer Manager and Technical Services Site Manager with Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, CA.  At Intel, Steve managed a team of engineers that built database servers, web servers and application servers for customers.  Prior to Intel, Steve was an Information Systems Auditor/Consultant at Ernst & Young in Cleveland.  These experiences helped Steve develop a diverse technical skillset across platforms.  

Steve earned a BA in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from Baldwin Wallace University (Summa Cum Laude) in 1998.  Steve received his MBA with concentrations in MIS and Management Policy from Case Western Reserve University in 2004.  Steve has Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) certifications in Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).

Steve resides in Broadview Heights, Ohio.
