Jonathan McCloskey

Biography

Jonathan McCloskey is a Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Jon is responsible for leading the investment activities of Parkwood, overseeing a team of analysts that are responsible for sourcing, monitoring and evaluating Parkwood’s external managers and internally managed strategies. Jon joined Parkwood in 2010 as the Director of Investments.

Before joining Parkwood, Jon spent eight years at Avalon Capital Group, a west coast family office, where he directed all investment activities.  Previous experience included investment banking roles at First Albany Corporation and Merrill Lynch in New York.  

Jon earned a BS in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in 1991 and an MBA in Finance in 1996 from Yale University. 

Jon and his wife, Alison, reside in Hunting Valley, Ohio with their three children.
