Prior to joining Parkwood, Jim spent eight years at General Electric in roles in Engineering, Six Sigma and Product Management. While at GE, Jim earned his Six Sigma Black Belt certification and was selected to complete management development courses at Crotonville (now the John F. Welch Leadership Development Center) in upstate New York.
Jim earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) in 1997 and an MBA in Finance in 2001 from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) as certified by the Global Association or Risk Professionals and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Jim and his wife, Amanda, reside in Concord Township, Ohio with their three children.
